The Communications Workers of America (CWA) One of the longest union organizing drives in history continues at IBM. The Communications Workers of America (CWA) http://www.cwa-union.org/ has created the CWA Local 1701 also known as the Alliance @IBM. (Italian, Australian, Japanese and French IBMers already have union representation.) The web site Alliance@IBM is a virtual union organizing headquarters. Hundreds of current and former IBM employees in the United States of America have posted messages chronicling the struggle for workers rights at the world's most recognized high-tech place of employment. Links to other IBM union web sites can be found here.
