Bursary Information
Communications, Energy, and Paperworkers Union of Canada, Local 911 will award nine bursaries valued at $400 each twice a year (June and December). C.E.P Local 911 has made this bursary available to members in good standing, their spouses, and their children and dependents in order to assist with the expenses of being a full-time student at a recognized university or technical institute. Students are ordinarily accepted as being in "full-time attendance" if the recognized university or technical institute regards them as such. Accordingly, a certificate from a university or technical institute stating that a student was in full-time attendance in a particular academic year or semester will normally be accepted.
Bursaries are awarded to applicants based on number of previous awards given to the applicant (lower number is better) and based on the number of days of seniority the C.E.P. Local 911 sponsoring member has (higher number is better). Bursaries are awarded twice a year. Deadline is June 30 for the January until June semester and December 31 for the July until December semester.
